New drug DUAVEE treats mood swings and prevents osteoporosis in postmenopausal women

 

postmenopausal womenAs reported in the October 10, 2013 issue of Contemporary OB/GYN, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new drug for treatment of hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings and for prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. The medication is called Duavee and is approved only for postmenopausal women who still have their uterus.
