Breast Cancer
Breast Cancer
Breast cancer cells are cells that have undergone changes, which allow them to grow uncontrolled into surrounding tissue and even spread to other parts of the body. Excluding skin cancer, it is the most common cancer in women in the US, regardless of race or ethnicity.
Routine breast cancer screening allows for its diagnosis even before there are signs or symptoms of the disease.
Importantly, one must remember that not all breast lumps are cancerous. Many breast finding, including Fibrocystic Changes, Fibroadenomas, and Simple Cysts can be benign.
